Noontime Notes is Back by Popular Demand

Emily Taylor Adams, Noontime Notes, Central City, Surrey, BCBlackwood Partners is pleased to announce that the Noontime Notes summer music event is back at Central City for summer 2019! The third annual Noontime Notes music series features free live lunchtime entertainment on Central City’s outdoor Plaza (102 Avenue and University Drive) from 11:45am to 2:00pm every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from July 9 to August 29.

Noontimes Notes provides an array of musical offerings including pop, jazz, country, bluegrass, and more. 22 individual and group performers are featured over the 24-day event. The event features a local talent line-up as all artists from British Columbia. Two well-known, award-winning artists back at this year’s event again are Emily Taylor Adams (photo at left) and John Gilliat. New artists this year include Cannery Row, Cross Parallel, Damien Marshall and Geoff Robertson, New Shackletons, Tanner Olsen Band, TWIN, and Van Django. Noontime Notes is a Central City Marketing Department production. The Central City Marketing team aims to bring high quality, high energy events to Central City to engage the local community as well as shoppers, tenants, visitors, and contractors. The Marketing team worked alongside well-established international talent and entertainment coordinator, Geoff Dueck, for the third year in a row to bring this event to the property. TELUS was also brought onboard this year as the event’s Presenting Sponsor and has activations adjacent to the event performances on select days.
